Krista Townsend, MA

Krista earned her Masters in Medical Illustration from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and has been practicing as an illustrator and and website designer for over 9 years. She worked for a small Internet company in Northern Virginia for 4 years before starting 712 Designs.

Before studying to become a medical illustrator Krista attended The Pennsylvania State University and received her Bachelors or Arts in Integrative Arts. She went on to study classical realism practices at a small, traditional art school in Baltimore, MD, The Schuler School of Fine Arts. In addition to her work with 712 Designs, Krista continues to draw and paint whenever possible and sells prints or originals of her art work.

Krista has worked as an illustrator, designer, animator, art director, information architect, usability expert, and fine artist and applies each of these skills and passions to every project she does.
